Software Engineer (.NET)

As a .NET Developer at Intralot, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining web pages, ensuring high performance, scalability, and seamless user experience in the gaming industry!

Education, Training, and Experience:

• B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar; or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• 2-3 years’ experience as a Software Engineer, with demonstrated continual increase in responsibilities.

• At least 2 years’ experience with Visual Basic or C# and ASP.NET in .NET development environment.

• At least 1 year experience with Oracle database or SQL Server.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing, creating, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications and specialized utility programs.

• Analyzing lottery needs and developing software solutions, optimizing operational efficiency and efficacy.

• Supporting and installing software applications.

• Participating in, supporting, and developing testing, review, analysis, and certification of software.

• Being responsible for developing, designing, coding, and testing proprietary lottery industry software.

• Supporting the development, testing, and debugging of software.

• Developing, coding, and debugging test software.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge of standard software engineering concepts, practices, and procedures.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in programming with Visual Basic or C#, ASP.NET, and Crystal Reports or Reporting Services in a .NET development environment.

• In-depth knowledge and experience in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Experience in product software development.

• Intermediate knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.

• Experience using Crystal Reports and/or SQL Reporting Services to develop and deploy reports in a web environment.

• Experience with RDBMS and Oracle applications.

• Experience coding for real-time, event-driven systems.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Strong oral and written communication skills.
