Systems Engineer

As a Systems Engineer at our team, you will take a key role in managing Linux Systems within the dynamic gaming industry!

More specifically, some of your main tasks will be:

• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot a wide range of systems and services

• Participate in the design, implementation, and support of IT infrastructure

• Configure storage, servers, fabric switches and systems, Microsoft servers (Cluster Services, File Services, Active directory Services, Certificate Authority services), Virtual Infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup systems

• Deploy new operating systems and features, middle ware applications as well as provide enhancements to existing applications and software

• Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.

To get this role, you should match the following criteria:

• University/College Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or relevant technology field.

• 3-5 years of IT-related experience.

• Excellent experience in development, systems’ implementation and applications

• Good Knowledge of OS (LINUX, AIX, Kubernetes), especially:

1.      Linux System administration (RHEL and derivates + Ubuntu)

2.      UNIX System administration (AIX)

3.      Container and Container orchestration platform administration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices

• Experience in ticketing systems (Jira and/or OTRS)

• Excellent command of the Greek & English language, both written and spoken.
